The Te Deum Foundation Prayer
O Heavenly Father, source of all
life,
we thank You for the gift of Your Son,
the High Priest who has redeemed the world.
Stir in our hearts a zeal for Your Son,
and bestow upon us the graces needed
to aid those men who follow in His way.
Keep us close to Your heart,
and send Your Holy Spirit
to illumine for us the way of humility.
May we become Your hands and feet in this world,
providing for the men
who have responded to Your Son’s call.
All praise be Yours, now and forever. Amen
The Te Deum Consecration
To
You, O God, we give praise and thanksgiving for all that you have
bestowed upon us and that which You have inspired. We ask You to
bless the work of our foundation for we consecrate it to Your honor
and glory. We pledge, too, most gracious Father our works, our
hopes, and our dreams. May they always be pleasing in your sight. We
ask Your blessings, too, upon all seminarians, especially those who
You have deigned to bring into our lives. We ask You to strengthen
their vocations that they may faithfully serve Your Church and holy
people. We entrust this prayer to the intercession of Our Lady and
ask that You grant it through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that
anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy
intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly
to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before
thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen
