Educational Outreach to Children
The Class
The presentation of the
Chaplet of Adoration and Reparation to children begins with the
lives of the three shepherd children of Fatima – their ages, their
homes, their chores: what life was like in their families. From there,
our educators describe the events of the apparitions and how the
children changed.
We
discuss how they were prepared for a great mission and how this relates
to each of them and how they are being prepared for God’s will in their
own lives.
We do not discuss Our Lady’s apparitions as this is recommended as a
follow-up with a movie, which includes both the apparitions of Our Lady
and the angel. Information about this DVD can be found

A question-and-answer time is offered; then each child receives a
Rosary and a Chaplet of Adoration and Reparation prayer card. We then
lead them in praying the chaplet, preferably in front of the Blessed
Sacrament in the Tabernacle. At the end, we give the children prayer
cards with Blessed Jacinta and Francisco, explaining the intercession of
the children and future canonization of the three shepherds of Fatima.
